DRUGS AND VIOLENCE
Even in times of peace the casualties are too great.
We know that destructive decisions such as, the use and distribution of drugs and increase of crime and violence is a direct correlation to the breakdown of our families. What is needed for our children to make healthy decisions is first received in a healthy home. When fathers and mothers instill the morals, values and identity in the children, they are less likely to involve themselves in destructive decisions. Because of the breakdown of the families, children are forced to find their values and identity elsewhere, often resorting to gangs, drugs, and violence. Today in many mainstream entertainment outlets, the criminal lifestyle is celebrated, and without the proper structure to combat these deceptive ideologies our children become the casualties. We must build strong healthy families in order to build strong healthy individuals, who make good decisions
