Our Vision

Christian Families Against Destructive Decisions mission is to influence the building and sustaining of strong families and strong generational heritages by promoting a biblical worldview and a God first lifestyle. All of the pain, grief, sorrow and sin in the world is the result of just one wrong decision. Every day we make hundreds of decisions that determine what we say and do. CFADD seeks to educate the public of the benefits and consequences of decisions that affect them and their loved ones, and to provide resources, strategies, and principles that would aid them in making good sound decisions. For no good action can be taken unless it is preceded by a good decision, and each good decision is an investment in a great future.

Christian Families Against Destructive Decisions strives:

• To combat misinformation and ignorance that effects our families negatively.

• To assure all children have dedicated mothers and fathers to protect, nurture and guide their

development toward their adulthood.

• To combat all cultural ideologies and/or behavior that disrupts the nuclear family.

• To reduce the result of media violence against the family.

• To promote equality and justice for all babies conceived in the womb.

• To promote abstinence before marriage and monogamy.

• To enhance the desirability of marriage and family life.

Only by restoring the biblical foundations of the home, can the church and society flourish. Our journey together to restore the foundations of the families and repair the breaches has just begun. (Isa 58.12) Through CFADD, you may become a part of the revival of biblical family values. Together we will see the heart of the fathers turn to the children and the heart of the children to their fathers and an end to the curse of fatherlessness in the Earth (Malachi 4:6).

Our History

The year 2020, was full of unprecedented challenges to the world’s health, social and economic systems. For our founder, Apostle Tommy E. Quick, it began with physical and social isolation, as he was dealt a tremendous injustice and went through possibly the greatest trial of his life. During this period God was not silent but spoke very distinctly regarding the need to restore families. Inspired by God’s personal dealings with him as well as prophetic words from various men of God including Bishop Patrick L. Wooden, Apostle Quick swiftly went to work on the vision God put in his heart. As a result, Christian Families Against Destructive Decisions, called CFADD for short was birthed in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

In April, of the same year (2020), the first planning sessions were underway, and the team worked diligently on the administration, branding and structure of the new organization. CFADD quickly launched a website and social media presence, capturing over 1,000 followers in just a month. In September, CFADD was officially established as a non-profit 501 c3.

On October 13, 2020, CFADD sponsored its kickoff event and first CFADD Family Rally in partnership with The Beacon Drive-in, a landmark in the Spartanburg community since 1946. The rally featured over 250 participants who traveled from various parts of the tri-state area, as well as speakers from both North and South Carolina. This was just the momentum CFADD needed! The community rallied around the cause, looking for opportunities to volunteer their time and donate to a worthy mission. Following the rally, CFADD expanded into North Carolina, with its first CFADD Chapter in Burlington, North Carolina. In February 2021, CFADD sponsored a 199 Men Conference, with nearly 100 men in attendance, focused on the importance of men in the family and society. Throughout the months of March, April, and May, CFADD expanded into Virginia with a CFADD Chapter in Portsmouth, VA and established additional chapters in Zebulon and Asheville, North Carolina, Greenville and Greenwood, South Carolina, and Miami, Florida. The first college chapter was approved for operation on the campus of USC Upstate in April. During this period, CFADD also piloted it’s 10- week family ministry program in 4 locations.

Seeing a need to reach children with the message of family, CFADD4Kids was conceptualized in an effort to educate children in the elementary age groups through the teaching of character attributes. 10 sessions have been recorded to date! CFADD4Kids also implemented “CAMP CFADD”, a four-week Summer Camp for ages 8 to 15. In less than a year, CFADD has done great things and impacted many including the families that were recipients of CFADD’s Christmas give-a-way. As we stand on the cusp of our first annual CFADD Family Conference, we are truly grateful for what the Lord has done and plans to do! It is our goal to see 50,000 families strengthened as we live out our mission of influencing the building and sustaining of strong families and strong generational heritages by promoting a biblical worldview and God First lifestyle.
